I find that when I talk to many people for the first time about essential oils, they often don’t understand that there are many essential oil brands on the market but, more importantly, that many of them are not the quality and purity that is required for them to provide the health benefits that they offer.

I admit, when I started, I definitely did not understand that quality is the most important consideration in using any essential oil.
But thankfully, the brand I was first introduced to was dōTERRA and I am grateful for that. dōTERRA’s commitment to quality and purity is the best in the industry. And they do it while also trying to provide economic benefits to the places and regions where they source their oils.
In order to help express this unique aspect of it’s products, dōTERRA devised a process for quality assurance that is industry leading. The result of that process is called Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG). It’s industry leading because there is no standard–which is why there are many poor quality products labeled as essential oils on the market.
